Career

Shafaq Naaz made her debut on Hindi television with *Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai* (2010). After appearing in several television shows such as *Crime Patrol*, *Adaalat*, *Fear Files*, and *Teri Meri Love Stories*, the 2013 Indian historical epic television series *Mahabharat* proved to be a major turning point in her career. In this series, she portrayed Kunti—one of the central characters of the epic—a role that earned her recognition and popularity.

Subsequently, she played the role of Mayuri Gomukh Narayan in the comedy-drama series *audiences widely appreciated Chidiya Ghar*, and her performance.

She made her debut in Hindi cinema with *Guest iin London* (2017), in which she played a minor role. Additionally, she appeared in series such as *Mahakali – Anth Hi Aarambh Hai* (2018) and *Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala* (2018).

In 2020, she returned to the mythological genre, portraying Maharani Kaushalya—Lord Rama's mother—in *Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram*. She also appeared in the series *Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin* (2020).
